MASTER OF SCIENCE IN SPORTS SCIENCES AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION

University of Lahore

This program consists of 64 credit hours with 30 cores courses. Main objectives of offering this program are

a)      To train the students to understand the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the human body.

b)      To introduce to the students the physiological basis for exercise and physical activity in direct application to           physical fitness and athletic conditioning.

c)      To facilitate the students to assess health status, conduct fitness testing, and prescribe and administer                  exercise programs.

d)      To familiarize the students to perform health and wellness programming based upon the ability to assess               needs, and to design, implement, and evaluate a project

 

Degree Requirements

14 years of education, B.Sc or Equivalent with at least second Division with 50% marks

Career Prospects

The Graduate having a degree of Sports Sciences and Physical Education will be able to play a significant role and positive contribute to generate human resources and to serve various sector of society in general, related to such program in particular, render to educational institutions and sports organizations.
